Drawing from the trance-like structures of Persian music and the gradual processes of Western minimalism, the ensemble creates an evolving sonic space that invites deep listening.
Through delicate interplay between setar, tar, tombak, and piano, Pulse and Silence reveals how music can breathe between motion and rest. The result is an immersive experience that blurs the boundary between composition and contemplation, performance and ritual.

Rooted in the experimental spirit of 1960s minimalism, CozyMinimal draws inspiration from pioneers like La Monte Young, Terry Riley, and Steve Reich—emphasising repetition, gradual evolution, and deep focus. This aesthetic finds a natural echo in Iranian forms like Khayyam Khani, where rhythmic poetry recitation creates a trance-like effect. CozyMinimal weaves these worlds together, inviting listeners into a meditative space where sound unfolds slowly and meaning emerges through patience and repetition.
