Dela Ensemble an improvisational set rooted in Iranian classical music
Four members of the Dela Ensemble will perform an improvisational set rooted in Iranian classical music. They will explore various Dastgah (modes), perform Saz-o-Awaz (unmetered vocal sections), and play a few Tasnif (Persian ballads). While the main structure will be pre-discussed, the performance will be guided by the vibe, allowing for spontaneous artistic creation and changes throughout.
